Internal tools, real users.
Growth Platforms brings together Nubank's internal platforms used to create, configure and manage marketing communications and experiences.
Their users are people inside the organization — the teams who run campaigns and communicate with customers. The ecosystem covers audience management, campaigns, templates and results analysis.
Discovery, design and code.
I worked on evolving the experience of these products, in collaboration with engineering, product and internal users.
I also led discovery initiatives to understand the needs of the teams who use the platforms.
Built for function first.
One of the main challenges was improving the experience of complex internal tools.
Many of them had been built with an initial focus on technical functionality, leaving room to improve basic aspects of usability and operational efficiency.
Listening as a routine.
I set up a recurring research practice with users to identify problems, understand workflows and turn what we learned into opportunities for the backlog.
At the same time, I began working closer to Design Engineering — using AI to contribute directly to technical implementation.
The basics, done right.
Among the improvements delivered were features such as copying and pasting elements, and undoing and redoing actions.
They are common interactions in editing tools, but they were missing from the initial experience of one of the platforms.
Small problems matter.
The improvements received positive feedback from users, and the continuous discovery process helped identify and prioritize opportunities to evolve the product.
This work reinforced my view that good experiences don't necessarily depend on big redesigns — sometimes solving seemingly small problems can have a significant impact on people's daily work. It is also where I deepened my practice at the intersection of design, code and artificial intelligence.
